Mustad Big Gun Hooks are manufactured from high carbon hook wire then Nor-Tempered and sharpened with opti-angle point technology to produce one of the world's strongest chemically sharpened live bait hooks. They come in sizes 6 - 12/0. The forged and kirbed design makes it suitable for many types of saltwater baits and there are few species of fish that can't be caught on it.
 
In larger sizes, it is suitable for live baiting for Kingfish, Tuna or other game fish. Also suited to heavy reef fishing for Mulloway, Hapuka, Emporer, Coral Trout and Cod. In medium and smaller sizes it is one of the best bait fishing hooks for snapper, flathead, bream, trevally etc.
